Music and relationships

Our minds often connect events with associated smells, scents, visuals, or music that were present at the time of the event, with just the hint of a particular scent or maybe seeing an object connecting you instantly to that event, even years later.

Relationships are the same. Be it when you met, when you had that first dance (and found out either you or your partner had two left feet), or an important event within your relationship.

Music can be an incredible point of connection within a relationship not only carrying you to an exact event within that relationship, but also and most importantly to the emotions that were present at that moment in time. Music can reconnect or strengthen your link to a partner in an instant. And the real plus? Usually your partner will have the same link to the music and the emotions that are attached.

So, please make sure you include the music that you and your partner think of as your song in your relationship as part of your repertoire, enabling you to refresh and reinforce your the emotive side of your relationship when needed.
